Um, heck yeah, I'll be there at 3pm for the briefing about the home apnea monitor.
So I got to the hospital around 2-ish, Landon had just been fed and the nurses were getting him ready to go home. He had been moved out of the incubator and into a regular NICU crib, but they hadn't yet removed the IV he had running into his melon......
I haven't included a video in a while, so here is Landon, hanging out.....
The respitory therapist from Apria arrived, and I got my brief. Check this link out, it will tell you all about the monitor, how it's hooked up, and how it works. Here's the monitor itself.....
And here are the leads that are attached to Landon.....
While I was getting my briefing, Landon's nurse removed his IV and gave him one final feeding and diaper change.....
I got home with Landon at about 6-ish, Reagan and mommy were waiting with big smiles on their faces.
And here are a bunch of pictures of the boys, back together again.....
It's now 8:45pm, and here is the schedule for the rest of the night.....
9pm - Feed Reagan
10pm - Baths for the boys
11pm - Feed Reagan and Landon / bedtime
1:30am - Hillary pumps
2am - Feed Reagan and Landon
4:30am - Hillary pumps
5am - Feed Reagan and Landon
7:30am - Hillary pumps
8am - Feed Reagan and Landon
That's a lot of activity during the night. I hope Hillary does all that quietly so I can get some sleep. Kidding.
Will update tomorrow and let you all know how our night was.
Phil
