The Story of Sunday February 14th

Check it out, three posts in three days.....

Just dropped Amanda off at her mom's house, we had a great weekend together.  We had our all-star tournament game on Saturday, and unfortunately we lost, so we are done for the year.  The girls played great though, we just got beat by a better team.  Amanda played as well as she could, she was pretty much shut down as the other team had a defender glued to her the entire game.  Everytime the ball came anywhere near her, it seemed like there was always a player or two on her immediately.  I had a great time coaching all-stars, all the girls on the team were great, and my assistant coaches Diana and Richard were fantastic.  Looking forward to doing it again next year.  So that's the end of our all-star season, can't wait until fall soccer starts again (five and a half months away).  And by the way, on August 1st 2014, Reagan and Landon will have their first soccer practice, mark your calendar.

I went up to see Landon last night, Hillary went up this morning.  I had mentioned to you how huge he is, check these out.....

He weighs 9 pounds!

He was supposed to come home tomorrow, but he is now going to come home on Tuesday.  The insurance company had denied the use of an apnea monitor so the doctor wanted to keep him there until Monday for observation (who's the math genius at Blue Cross that thinks an apnea monitor isn't cheaper than three nights in the NICU?)  Well Dr. Safar at VCMC thinks that there is another way he can get the apnea monitor for Landon, but since Monday is a holiday, it can't be taken care of until Tuesday.  Either with or without the monitor, he's coming home on Tuesday.

And now onto Reagan.  Check him out.....
Yeah, that's right, he's daddy's little wingman.

The feedings every two hours are really helping him, you can see how much bigger he is getting.  We unofficially weighed him today (weight of Amanda and Landon - weight of Amanda = weight of Reagan), and he came in at a little over 7 pounds, so he's gained about a pound in the last week.  We'll see for sure on Wednesday at his next appointment.  Hopefully then Dr. Coppa will let us go back to feeding him every three hours.

Hillary, Reagan and I are just hanging out watching TV, wishing Landon and Amanda were here.  That's it for now, more updates tomorrow.
