Another sad day. Landon had to go back on the ventilator tubes :-( I guess he just didn't want his brother to be the only one.
As it turns out, they both have very immature lungs that just aren't doing what they are supposed to do. The on-call neo-natologist just left our room and explained it all to us. I'm going to have do some interneting to see if I can get the full grasp of exactly what he told us. He did want us to know that while it is a setback, we should look at it as a part of the process in getting them fully healthy, and eventually out of the NICU and home. They just need a little bit more time. Like I've said, they came out of the oven medium-rare when they should have been well-done.
We're going to try and get some sleep, keep Reagan and Landon in your prayers.
